Editing is performed on the first draft of the document and continues till the draft is finalized. Editing enhances the language by making changes for clarity, readability, smooth narration, and keeping the work in the correct tense.

We work very closely with the author as we know how important this is. Of course, we will honour deadlines, but this may require a longer turnaround as the amount of work required is more than a proofread. During our editing, we can reduce the number of words if required. Editing is done using Track Changes in Microsoft Word so you can revert back to previous versions easily.

Proofreading is performed on the final draft of the document and eliminates any misspellings, grammatical and punctuation errors together with any inconsistencies and formatting errors. As this does not require much collaboration with the author, the turnaround time is shorter, but we are able to meet any deadlines you may have. The ideal way to go about this is to have your manuscript both edited and proofread.
